Laser Carbon Peel
Done in under an hour, our Laser Carbon Peel facial is a two-step treatment that instantly reduces skin concerns such as acne and pigmentation. After just one treatment, the skin is left visibly brighter, clearer, and smoother.
How Does It Work
The first step is the application of a carbon lotion to the skin. Then, a 1060nm wavelength laser penetrates the dermis, creating controlled thermal damage to stimulate the skin’s natural healing process.
The second step is the removal of the carbon lotion with a short pulse Q-Switched laser. The laser breaks up the carbon into fine particles and then absorbs them, therefore removing dead skin cells, oils and impurities that were bound to them. The skin also receives a deep exfoliation during this second stage, making it four times stronger than any other peel on the market.
The heat created during this treatment also induces contraction of the pores, making it an ideal treatment for those with enlarged pores. When targeted at acne, this high energy treatment goes straight to the acne’s membrane and destroys it, reducing acne and its related inflammation.
This treatment is suitable for all skin types, as it helps regulate sebum production, blackheads and blemishes but can also bring relief to the most sensitive of skins with the properties of activated charcoal. This treatment is completely painless with no downtime.

Pre-Treatment Tip
To avoid irritation and sensitivity, we ask that you to avoid waxing, including other hair removal services (6 weeks for laser on the face), for at least 3 days prior to, and 3-5 days following, the treatment.
Post-Treatment Care
Although this treatment does not require any downtime, we do recommend postponing the application of makeup for the first 24 hours and cleaning your makeup brushes prior to the first post-treatment application. Always use SPF of 30 or above.
Contraindications
This procedure should not be performed on sunburnt, blistered, infected or broken skin. This treatment is not suitable for persons with immunodeficiency or who are suffering from cancer or undergoing chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Persons with diabetes, who suffer from blood illnesses, who are taking blood thinning or photosensitizing medications , who suffer from skin pigmentation issues and who are currently pregnant or nursing should not have this procedure done. We would require a doctors note from the following persons who have or have had the following conditions : Epilepsy, who are on or currently taking transplant Anti-Rejection Drugs, thyroid disease, heart disease, hypertension (High blood pressure treated with medication) and who are 12 months post cancer treatment. It is suggested to wait 4 weeks prior to having your carbon peel after having done a chemical peel, a microdermabrasion or a radio frequency treatment. Furthermore, it is preferred to wait at least 6 months prior to having your Carbon Peel after having done a medical chemical peel, a dermabrasion treatment , a laser skin resurfacing treatment or face lift at site of treatment.
